In honor of Veteran’s Day, a slew of Phoenix restaurants are showing their appreciation with delicious dining deals and promotions.
Luci’s Healthy Marketplace (pictured) is showing its support to veterans by offering them 20 percent off their meal on Tuesday, Nov. 11. This is for all active and retired military vets who show proper ID.
In honor of Veteran’s Day, Café Esperanza, the coffee whose profits benefit local charities, is launching a promotion to support our military veterans: for every bag of Café Esperanza coffee purchased in November 2014, they will donate $1 (up to $1,000) to the Madison Street Veterans Association, a peer-run group of homeless and formerly homeless veterans offering personal, individualized service, basic resources, community and advocacy for all veterans. This Veteran’s Day, Fired Pie is saying thank you to those who are currently serving or have served our country. On Tuesday, Nov. 11, all active or retired military will receive a free salad or pizza. This offer is limited to one pizza or salad per person. All they need to do is show proper military ID. There is no purchase necessary.
On Tuesday, Nov. 11, Nabers wants to say thank you to our veterans. The Chandler restaurant is offering a free meal, from a special menu, for active and retired vets. All they must do is show proper military ID. There will also be live music all day. Chandler Harley Davidson will be there showcasing their newest models of motorcycles. People visiting the locally-owned restaurant on Veterans Day can also nominate their own military veteran for a free trip by donating $20 to nonprofit Heart of Valor. The lucky winner will receive two nights and a full day of deep sea fishing in San Diego. Heart of Valor raises funds to send military vets on excursions and trips. For those who cannot make it out to Nabers on Veterans Day, they can visit the Heart of Valor website at www.heartofvalor.org to donate and nominate someone for the free trip. The drawing will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Veteran’s Day at Nabers. Winners do not have to be present to win.
In recognition of Veteran’s Day, Claim Jumper Restaurants will thank U.S. military veterans with a complimentary meal to those who have served our country on Monday, Nov. 10.
To honor our nation’s heroes, Taco Guild will be giving away a free taco to any active duty or retired military. The process is simple: Veterans, who present their military ID, have earned a free taco with any purchase.
