El Chorro in Scottsdale might be 75 years old, but the longtime Valley restaurant is keeping things fresh with summer specials and seasonal menu offerings.
First up, El Chorro has added several new seasonally inspired cocktails to the lineup, for example the just-unveiled Fun In The Sun. Or guests can enjoy a classic Mint Julep with fresh mint picked from the El Chorro garden.
Because summer means longer days, guests are invited to enjoy the extra hours of sunlight during happy hour. El Chorro will offer drink specials from 5-7 p.m. along with a complimentary hors d’oeuvre buffet from 5-6 p.m. Daily menus include:
Tuesday:
Assorted sliders, salad du jour and cheese display; $3 draft beers
Wednesday:
BBQ, coleslaw and cheese display; $2 domestic beers
(Bud, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Coors Light and Miller Light)
Thursday:
Taco Night: assorted chips and salsas; $5 margaritas and $1 Corzo Tequila shots
Friday:
Fresh pasta, tomato and mozzarella salad and cheese display; $5 sangrias
Saturday:
Salmon cakes with spicy remoulade, salad and cheese display; $5 well drinks (excluding martinis)
And the El Chorro goodness doesn’t end when the sun goes down. Guests can enjoy specials well into the summer nights with a $20 late night prix fixe menu available from 9-10 p.m. menu offerings will change on a weekly basis. www.elchorro.com.
