There’s a pie for everyone at Mamma Toledo’s this Thanksgiving. Pre-order yours here by Nov. 17 for pick-up on Nov. 21 or 22, so you don’t miss out on Mamma’s signature creations, which include apple, apple crumb, caramel apple, green chile apple crumb, pumpkin, vegan pumpkin, banana cream, coconut cream, chocolate cream, pecan, hard whiskey pecan, cherry, cherry crumb, brown sugar peach and brown sugar peach crumb.
Miracle Mile Deli
The Valley’s longtime sandwich shop, Miracle Mile Deli, is helping you out this Thanksgiving with pre-order specials, including six delicious whole pies for $22 each. Squeezed for time over the holidays? The groovy breakfast and lunch spot Morning Squeeze has takeaway pies and quiches for Thanksgiving that will help you entertain before and after the big meal. Pre-brunch quiches include the Veggie Quiche with spinach, tomato and Feta cheese and a Bacon & Cheddar Quiche. Both are $20 each and come with reheating instructions. For a post-dinner dessert, Morning Squeeze is offering two classic pies available for takeaway, including a 9-inch Pumpkin Pie and Peanut Butter Pie for $20 each. Süss Pastries is elevating the classics this season with two decadent pies available for pre-order until No. 17. The first is an apple pie crumble made with a flaky buttery pie crust that is filled with fall-spiced granny smith apples and topped with a mesquite streusel. The second, a pumpkin cream pie, is sure to make a statement at the table with a lightly browned butter graham crust that is layered with cranberry jam, pumpkin cream cheese mousse and topped with toasted marshmallow fluff. Sweet Republic
The local artisan ice cream shop is taking Thanksgiving to a whole new level with ice cream-filled pies available for pre-order in three seasonal flavors. Each nine-inch pie serves 6–8 people and features a honey waffle crust that is filled with 24 oz. of ice cream and then topped with whipped cream.
Choose from a decadent Apple Pie featuring Granny Smith apples roasted in butter and brown sugar, a cinnamon and apple brandy sweet cream and chunks of pie crust folded into the ice cream; a Maple Pecan Pie featuring maple-infused ice cream with Arizona-grown pecans; and a Pumpkin Spice Pie featuring classic slow-cooked pumpkin with a festive blend of six spices blended into the ice cream.
