At just about this time every year, Arizonans are looking for more and more ways to keep cool and find ways to keep entertained indoors–where the air-conditioner is on full blast and cold drinks are at our fingertips. This summer, Phoenix’s Arizona Biltmore Resort is offering a cool way for foodies to savor summertime with its Hollywood & Wine festival. The festival will spotlight a slew of classic foodie flicks, wine tastings and wine dinners.
Each Friday, the Phoenix resort will feature a free tasting event at 8 p.m. with a different celebrity winemaker, followed by a complimentary foodie-friendly movie. The Friday movies and wineries will be:
July 1st: Movie: Breakfast at Tiffany’s; Winery: B.R. Cohn
July 8th: Movie: Waitress; Winery: MacMurray Ranch
July 15th: Movie: Bottle Shock; Winery: Hollywood and Vine
July 22nd: Movie: Babette’s Feast; Winery: Paul Newman
Every Saturday, starting at 8 p.m., Arizona Biltmore will host a four-course Winemaker Dinner paired with celebrity winemaker vintages and accompanied by a favorite culinary-themed film. The event is $55 per person. The Saturday movies and wineries will be:
July 2nd: Movie: Chocolat; Winery: B.R. Cohn
July 9th: Movie: Big Night; Winery: MacMurray Ranch
July 16th: Movie: Julie and Julia; Winery: Hollywood and Vine
