Now that spring has sprung, it is time to put away the bourbon and brandy and bust out the sparkling wine. Check out these fresh and fruity cocktail recipes courtesy of Chandon, perfect for Easter Sunday or Mother’s Day brunch.
Chandon Lavender
• 1 oz Lavender Simple Syrup
(1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon lavender florets)
• 2 oz fresh lime juice
• 3 oz Chandon Brut Classic
Make the simple syrup: Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit 30 minutes. Strain the syrup into a clean container and refrigerate. Discard the lavender.
Directions: Pour the simple syrup and lime juice in a decorative glass and stir to mix. Add Chandon Brut Classic and serve.
Chandon Rosés and Berries
• 2 oz Basil Simple Syrup
(1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup loosely packed basil leaves)
• 4 oz fresh lime juice
• 750ml (1 bottle) Chandon Rosé
Make the simple syrup: Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit 30 minutes. Strain the syrup into a clean container and refrigerate. Discard the basil.
Directions: Pour the simple syrup and lime juice in a pitcher. Stir to mix well. Add Chandon Rosé. Fill with ice and serve.
Chandon Orange Blossom
• 1 oz of honey
• 2 oz of fresh blood orange juice
• Dash of orange blossom water
• 3 oz of Chandon Brut Classic
Directions: Combine the honey, blood orange juice and orange blossom water in a shaker. Add ice. Shake and strain into a decorative glass. Add Chandon Brut Classic and serve.
