I confess: I’m not a big root beer drinker. (I do like those root beer barrel candies, though, for some reason.) But with the introduction of Three Olives Root Beer Vodka, I might just need to give this old-fashioned favorite another try. Here are a few recipes to try (including an adult take on a childhood classic, perfect for a summer soiree):
British Car Bomb
1 oz. Three Olives Root Beer Vodka
1/2 pint Ale
Drop shot glass of Three Olives Root Beer Vodka carefully into half pint of ale.
Rock Star Root Beer
1 oz. Three Olives Root Beer Vodka
1 oz. Three Olives Vanilla Vodka
4 oz. Ginger ale
Mix in a glass filled with ice and garnish with a cherry.
Root Beer Floatini
1.5 oz. Three Olives Root Beer Vodka
1/2 oz. Amaretto liqueur
Shake hard over ice and strain into glass. Float a melon ball-size scoop of vanilla ice cream in center.
