Staying in this Valentine’s Day? Well, here are a few romantic, festive cocktail recipes that are perfect to cozy up with Thursday evening, courtesy of some of our fave Valley restaurants and cocktail pros.
Red Raspberry 75

1 oz Hendricks gin
0.75 oz lemon juice
0.75 oz simple syrup
Pinch of mint
Scoop of raspberry sorbet, softened
Top with Chandon Rose
Mint sprig and raspberry, for garnish
Combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, Hendricks gin, raspberry sorbet and mint in a cocktail shaker. Top with ice and shake vigorously. Pour 3 ounces of sparkling rose into the cocktail shaker and stir. Strain into Champagne coupe. Garnish with mint sprig and raspberry.
Scottish Rose

2 oz. Hendricks Gin
1 oz. Lillet Blanc
.5 oz. Crème Yvette
1 drop rose water
Rose petal, garnish
Combine ingredients in mixing glass with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into coupe glass. Garnish with a rose petal.
Strawberry Basil Cooler

1 part St. Germain elderflower liqueur
2 parts citrus vodka
1 part fresh lemon juice
1/4 shot agave nectar
1 part muddled strawberry and basil
Top with Brut Sparkling Wine
Strawberry for garnish
Shake and strain over fresh rocks in a Collins glass. Top with Brut Rose or Brut Champagne. Garnish with a strawberry.
Amore Smooch

1 oz of Godiva White liqueur
1 oz of Svedka Cherry Vodka
1 oz of Crème de Cacao
Mix all ingredients in a martini shaker. Strain into a stemless martini glass (bottom of the glass filled with crushed ice and 2 fresh rose petals). Garnish with 3 Svedka Cherry infused cherries, half dipped in chocolate.
