Looking for bubbly this New Year’s that doesn’t break the bank? Here are a few cost-effective Champagnes and sparkling wines to try:
Rotari Talento Metodo Classico Riserva. This bottles has notes of custard cream, white chocolate, dried fruit and toasted hazelnut and is only $19. You can find it at most liquor stores.
Rene Florancy Champagne. This award-winning bubbly, which is exclusive to Fresh & Easy stores, is on sale this month for $24. You’ll also find La Gioiosa Proseco for $8 and Montcadi Cava for $5 on Fresh & Easy shelves right now.
Cheers and have a happy, safe holidays!
Recession Champagne – love it!
Not all Champagne is really Champagne. It must come from Champagne, France.
I will have to try the Rene Florancy-the other Champagnes I like are so expensive.
After visiting Korbel in Sonoma, their ‘Rouge Champagne” is now my favorite. But you can only buy it there!
