Friday, July 24 is National Tequila Day. To toast to this delicious holiday, take a look at these Valley dining spots that are paying homage to summer’s favorite spirit.
Rita’s Kitchen at Camelback Inn is serving a specialty dish, pairing a new tequila cocktail made exclusively for National Tequila Day with a spicy culinary counterpart. For $26, enjoy this Tequila Pairing special, which includes the tequila cocktail comprised of Patron Silver infused with grapefruit and blackberry, paired with citrus chili-glazed shrimp. Just interested in the tequila? This special cocktail can also be enjoyed individually for $12.
In honor of National Tequila Day, Z’Tejas is serving up $5 signature margaritas all day long. Frozen or on the rocks, choose from the 6th Street (pictured), Skinny, Chambord, Hard Day or Tejas Mule Margarita. Plus, from 4 p.m. to close, all street tacos are only $1.99 on the 24th.
Kick back on National Tequila Day with Roger Clyne at Taco Guild, where they feature more than 200 different tequilas. The tequila experts at the Guild have come up with a new cocktail that features Clyne’s Mexican Moonshine tequila called the Guild Peacemaker. You can get that and plate of three tacos in red, white and green tortillas (the colors of Mexico’s flag) for $7.24.
