True Food Kitchen will open its very first Tucson location on Nov. 13. The new restaurant will feature classic dishes available at other True Food locations as well as exclusive new menu items.
True Food Kitchen was founded by Tucson native Dr. Andrew Weil, whose mission is to inspire people to eat better, feel better and live better.
“We have always been looking to expand in our home state of Arizona, and Tucson is the perfect next move for our brand,” says True Food Kitchen CEO John Williams. “As we celebrate our 15th-year anniversary, we couldn’t think of a better time to bring this experience to our founder Dr. Weil’s backyard. With our commitment to serving fresh, wholesome, and delicious dishes, we can’t wait to become a beloved part of Tucson’s culinary landscape.”
The new north Tucson location at La Encantada shopping center will be open daily for lunch and dinner, plus weekend brunch. The menu will emphasize wholesome ingredients with simple preparations with iconic dishes, like edamame dumplings, an organic Tuscan kale salad and an ancient grains bowl.
The restaurant will offer a rotating selection of seasonal pizzas, pastas, grass-fed steaks and responsibly sourced seafood. Some new additions include a spinach and mushroom pizza and vegetable enchiladas.
True Food Kitchen Tucson will also be serving classic fresh-pressed juices, organic teas and neutral refreshers, like The O.G., Kale Aid, Peach Lemonade and Pink Lemonade. The restaurant will offer a variety of craft beers, wine and signature cocktails, including the Smoke Show Old Fashioned and Citrus Skinny Margarita.
True Food Kitchen at La Encantada Tucson will be open seven days a week, Monday through Thursday 11 a.m.–9 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.–10 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m.–10 p.m. and Sunday 9:30 a.m.–9 p.m. For more information, visit truefoodkitchen.com/locations/tucson.
