Art lovers, curious creatives and first-time collectors will have a new way to experience the scene this November when The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art, makes its Phoenix debut. Taking place Nov. 12-15 at On Jackson, a restored 1930s warehouse, the four-day event will bring together 65 emerging and mid-career artists from around the world.

The fair blends the atmosphere of a traditional art show with live music, interactive installations and family-friendly activities. Selected from more than 300 applicants, participating artists will showcase their own work and have the opportunity to connect directly with visitors. Guests can meet the artists, learn about their creative process and purchase original pieces on the spot.

The Other Art Fair welcomes experienced collectors and people buying their first piece. Artwork will be available in a range of sizes and price points, including collections of original and limited-edition pieces priced under $500 and under $2,000. For those feeling a little adventurous, the Blind Date with an Artwork experience offers hidden pieces priced at $150 or less, each accompanied by a creative description. Buyers choose their artwork without seeing it first.

Visitors can take part in several hands-on experiences. A giant color-in mural by Sydney-based illustrator John Paine features 100 drawings inspired by art history, inviting guests to identify familiar works while adding their own color. The Karmacy offers a playful take on a community bulletin board, allowing visitors to take a bottle containing an encouraging message and leave a note for the next person.

The Faux-To Booth puts a creative spin on the traditional photo booth. Artists Aileen and Jef use what they call Human Intelligence (HI) to create one-of-a-kind portraits. Visitors purchase a token, strike a pose and receive a custom portrait within minutes. Guests can also stop by The Haikuists for a complimentary, typewritten poem inspired by whatever is on their mind.

Additional offerings include Animal Guide Oracle readings and Aura Portrait sessions, adding even more opportunities for visitors to explore something unexpected.

Opening Night on November 12 runs from 6 to 10 p.m. and will feature DJs throughout the evening. The first 500 guests through the door will receive a complimentary drink at the Fair Bar. Friday's event runs from 5 to 10 p.m., while Saturday hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Other Art Fair takes place at On Jackson, 245 E. Jackson St. in Phoenix. Tickets and additional information are available at theotherartfair.com/phoenix.
