Aug. 1, 2015. The Arizona Cardinals held their first day of training camp on Saturday. Fans were admitted free to fill the seats of University of Phoenix Stadium to see their favorite Cardinals players in action and to get autographs. The first and only female coach in NFL history, Dr. Jen Welter, ran the team through some drills. Welter is one of seven interns Cardinals coach Bruce Arians has brought aboard. Her internship with inside linebackers will last through the preseason. For more information about the Cardinals and training camp, visit http://www.azcardinals.com.
