Reportedly found as an injured stray hiding in a story, Jack Jack did not think he would find himself in the care of the Arizona Humane Society at 13 years old. While undergoing a veterinary exam, not only was the handsome cat found to have an embedded collar but also a microchip.
Sadly, Jack Jack’s owner stated they did not want their cat back and now he is hoping to find a true forever home where he is appreciated and loved throughout his Golden Years. While in the care of AHS, the orange tabby has been treated for wounds as well as given a lot of TLC to help him trust people again.
Now that he understands that the employees and volunteers of the shelter are not as scary as he originally thought, Jack Jack has shown to be an extremely sweet older boy who loves treats and canned food. If your family decides to welcome him into your home, there will never be a dull moment as he loves to talk, purr and lean in for pets.
In an effort to get more pets into their forever homes, the Arizona Humane Society is hosting $0 adoption fees for adult pets 1 year and older on Saturday, September 26th.
