One look at Dozer and you would never know he is suffering from traumatic injuries as his tail has never stopped wagging! Rescued as an injured stray earlier this month, Dozer is a very handsome pup who is in need of a helping paw. The one-year-old Cane Corso is undergoing care in the Arizona Humane Society’s Lazin Animal Foundation Trauma Hospital after he was found as an injured stray wandering in a West Phoenix neighborhood.

Dozer was evaluated in the shelter where he was found to have a significant wound on his hind leg and a fractured pelvis, most likely from being hit by a car. Because of this, the sweet pup will need a foster home where he can be on strict crate rest while receiving medications, going on very short potty breaks and getting updated radiographs every four weeks until he is completely healed.
