Nov. 22, 2016. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess transformed into an enchanting winter wonderland, as they kicked-off their 7th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. The 45-foot tree has 70,000 LED lights which twinkle and dance to 17 holiday songs. The tree lighting ceremony includes the opening of the Desert Ice Skating Rink, more than 3 million Lagoon Lights, the start of the Princess Express Trains, the new Polar Glide ice slide, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Christmas elves, and new holiday characters.
