After her owner sadly passed away in June of this year, Athena and another dog had nowhere else to turn. With no one else to care for them, they were rescued by the Arizona Humane Society and now this gorgeous five-year-old American Bulldog is still looking for her forever home.

Upon being transferred to the organization, Athena was found to have some irritation on her paw pads, a few worn teeth and some swelling of her back leg. With a few dental extractions behind her, the jubilant pup has healed nicely and hopes to find a forever home that allows her to be her energetic, outgoing self.

Athena has shown that she loves everyone she meets, getting attention and is a ham when it comes to showing off her tricks in exchange for some yummy treats. With endless booty wiggles, a big smile and an even bigger heart, it is a wonder this sweet girl is still at the shelter.
